The novel, Girl, Stolen by April Henry, is about 16 year old Cheyenne Wilder.  Cheyenne is blind and was diagnosed with pneumonia.  One day when Cheyenne’s step mother went into the pharmacy to refill her prescription, someone hopped into the front seat of the car and drove away.  Cheyenne soon realized it was not her step mother.  The car was being stolen, with Cheyenne in the back seat.  Now Cheyenne will have to fight for her life to escape.

I recommend this book to anyone who likes a suspenseful story.  I felt anxious, but wanted to find out what happened to Cheyenne.  I read this book in one week because it kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time I was reading it.

You can find this book in the Young Adult Fiction section at YA HENRY.
