Today I recommend: Once and For All by Sarah Dessen.

Louna is the daughter of a single mother, who is also a famed wedding planner. Louna has been around weddings her whole life, maybe that is why she doesn’t truly believe in happily-ever-after. When her mom hires a new worker named Ambrose, Louna holds him at arm’s length. However, easy going Ambrose isn’t discouraged and is ready to give up his serial dating ways for Louna, if only she will let him.

While this book has romantic elements, it is more about Louna figuring out who she is and what she wants to do with her life, separate from her mom and her mom’s wedding business. Once and for All is a fun, lighthearted coming of age book with an easy going love interest and a silly dog.
